Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EasyTune website (easytune.app), the free web app (app.easytune.app) and the EasyTune Android application (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
EasyTune is a tune calculator for the video game Forza Horizon 6. It provides setup recommendations based on user-supplied vehicle parameters and driving symptoms. The Service is provided "as is" for informational and entertainment purposes only.
2. No account required
The web app does not require an account. The Android Pro app uses Google Play's purchase mechanism but does not create an EasyTune-specific account. You are responsible for keeping any local data (saved tunes) backed up if you wish to preserve it.
3. Pricing and payment
The web version is free. The Pro Android app is sold as a one-time purchase (4.99 EUR or local equivalent) through Google Play. All transactions, taxes, refunds and disputes are handled by Google under Google Play's terms. We do not process payments and we do not store payment information.
4. Refunds
Google Play offers automatic refunds within 48 hours of purchase, with no questions asked. After that window, refunds are handled case by case via Google Play support. Statutory consumer rights (including the EU right of withdrawal, where applicable) are unaffected.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code beyond what is publicly published; (b) use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others; (c) attempt to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; (d) resell access to the Pro app outside Google Play.
6. Intellectual property
The EasyTune name, logo, design, code and content are owned by the project maintainer, except for portions explicitly published under an open-source license in our public repository. Forza, Forza Horizon and related trademarks belong to Microsoft and Playground Games. We do not host any official game assets.
7. User-supplied content
You retain ownership of any tunes, car data or notes you create using the Service. By sharing a tune via the share link or PNG export, you grant other users of the Service a non-exclusive right to view and use the shared tune. We do not host shared content on our servers; share links encode the tune in the URL itself.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that tune recommendations will work for your specific car, driving style or track. EasyTune is a starting point, not a guarantee. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EasyTune and its maintainer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Statutory rights of consumers under EU, UK, Spanish, French or Japanese law are unaffected.
10. Termination
We may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time. The Pro Android app, once purchased, will continue to function on your device for the lifetime of the device as long as Google Play continues to validate the license. We commit to providing reasonable advance notice if the Service is permanently discontinued.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of the maintainer's country of residence (France), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence still apply. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
