Product
/01 Is EasyTune affiliated with Microsoft or Playground Games?
No. EasyTune is an independent fan project. Forza and Forza Horizon are trademarks of their respective owners. We do not host any official assets.
/02 Does it work with Forza Horizon 5 or earlier?
No. EasyTune is calibrated for Forza Horizon 6 only. The physics constants, gearbox tables, and discipline profiles are FH6-specific.
/03 What is the symptom-based diagnostic?
Instead of asking you to know what an anti-roll bar does, you tell us what you feel: "the front pushes straight in mid-corner". We map that to the right setup change. 22 cards cover the most common symptoms.
/04 Where can I report bugs or suggest features?
Email contact@easytune.app. The project is independent and feedback drives the roadmap.
/05 How does EasyTune compare to forzaquicktune.com or forzatune.pro?
Both are mature tools with their own strengths — see our comparison page for a side-by-side. The big difference: EasyTune is symptom-based ("it understeers" → fix) instead of slider-abstract, free on the web with no signup, open source under MIT, and available in six languages.
/06 Can I export my tunes to share with friends?
Yes. The web version lets you copy the tune to your clipboard or share a URL that re-opens the same setup. Pro Android adds PNG export and named saves you can send over Discord or Reddit.
/07 Can I save multiple tunes per car?
Pro Android supports unlimited named saves, tags and search. The free web version saves your last tune via shareable URL — no account needed.
/08 Why six languages and not English-only?
The Forza community is global. We translate diagnostic vocabulary with native speakers — "understeer" and "subviraje" need to mean exactly the same thing on the card. English-only would exclude a third of the player base.
/09 Can I contribute to EasyTune?
Yes — EasyTune is MIT-licensed on GitHub. Pull requests welcome for diagnostic cards, translations, bug fixes and new languages. Code style and contribution guide are in the repo.
Pricing
/01 What is the refund policy for Pro?
Google Play offers automatic refunds within 48 hours of purchase, no questions asked. After 48 hours, refunds are handled case by case via support.
/02 Is it really free?
The web version is free forever. 10 cars, road only, core diagnostic. The Pro Android app is a one-time 4.99 € unlock — no subscription, no recurring fees.
Privacy
/01 Will my data leave my device?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Saved tunes, custom cars, and settings stay in your local storage. We use Cloudflare for hosting and privacy-friendly analytics, no personal data.
/02 How do you protect my data?
We do not collect personal data. No account, no email required to use the calculator. Tunes are stored in your browser local storage. Analytics are cookie-less (Cloudflare, Vercel, Microsoft Clarity in anonymous mode). No third-party trackers.
Technical
/01 How is the tune calculated?
After thousands of tunes and multiple top-100 Rivals finishes across the Forza series, we built our own calculator. Magnitudes are calibrated from real driver feedback in FH6, and every formula choice is documented in our public repository.
/02 How accurate are the tunes?
They are starting points, not perfection. A tune in FH6 depends on your driving style and the track. EasyTune gets you a setup that works on the first lap; you fine-tune by ticking the diagnostic cards based on how it actually drives.
/03 Does it work for racing leagues or Rivals events?
Yes. Many of our power users built EasyTune tunes for Rivals top-100 climbs and league nights. The diagnostic is event-agnostic — you tell us what the car does on that specific track.
/04 What if my car has a swap (engine, drivetrain, aspiration)?
Fill in the actual post-swap values: PI class, drivetrain, weight, gearbox type. EasyTune calculates from the build you give it, not from the stock car spec.
/05 How accurate is the PI class detection?
Pro pre-fills PI from the FH6 catalog. The web version asks you to enter PI and class manually — both fields take 5 seconds and let you experiment with what-if builds (A800 vs S1 900).
Roadmap
/01 Can I use it on iPhone?
Not yet. We start with Android because the FH6 player base on mobile leans Android. iOS will come if traction justifies it.
/02 When will iOS or Pro Android launch?
Pro Android is in active development, launch targeted within the next few months. iOS depends on Android traction — if the user base justifies the cost, we ship iOS within the same year. Subscribe via the Pro CTA to be notified.
